Most people heading into a Nepal or Himalayan trek feel uncertain before they go.
Trek Prep is 1:1 coaching designed to get you physically, mentally and practically ready so you arrive with clarity, not doubt.

Led by Sharon Evans, HRT Adventure Leader

Sharon has led multiple high altitude treks in the Himalayas with a 100% summit success rate.

She knows exactly what separates people who arrive ready from people who arrive wishing they'd prepared differently.

What’s Included in Trek Prep

Session 1 — Get Your Plan in Place

We start by understanding where you’re at and what you actually need.

  • Fitness check in and realistic prep guidance

  • Personalised training direction (based on your time and experience)

  • Clear focus so you’re not over or under doing it

  • You'll leave with a concrete plan and the confidence you're preparing the right way

Session 2 — Gear and Altitude Clarity

We remove the two biggest sources of overwhelm.

  • What you actually need to bring (and what you don’t)

  • Understanding altitude and how it affects you

  • What to expect day to day on the trail

  • You'll leave with a finalised gear list and a clear picture of what altitude will actually feel like before you get there

Session 3 — Confidence and Final Prep

We pull everything together so you’re ready to go.

  • Managing nerves and uncertainty

  • Mental preparation for the trek experience

  • Final checklist so you arrive organised and calm

  • You'll leave this session ready. Not hoping you'll be okay — knowing you are.

What changes after Trek Prep

Most people heading into Nepal are excited - and a little unsure.
Trek Prep is what you do before you leave home so you arrive in Kathmandu feeling prepared.

Before Trek Prep

  • You’re unsure if your fitness is enough

  • You’re guessing what gear you actually need

  • Altitude feels like an unknown

  • You keep thinking, “I’ll probably be fine…”

  • But you’re not completely convinced

After Trek Prep

  • You know exactly how you’ve trained and where you stand

  • Your gear is sorted without second guessing

  • You understand what altitude will feel like before you get there

  • You’re not relying on hope

  • You arrive in Nepal calm, steady and ready to start

The Real Shift

From: “I hope I’ll be okay”

To: “I’m ready for this”

This is for you if:

  • You’re excited about Nepal but not 100% confident yet

  • You’ve never trekked at altitude before

  • You don’t want to get the gear or training wrong

  • You’d feel better having guidance before you go

You don’t need to figure this out on your own.

Limited spots available for 2026
