Busting Camping Myths - Solo Camping šŸŒ²šŸ•šŸŒ²

Busting camping myths, solo camping. I am often asked if I get scared camping alone, am I scared of wild animals, reptiles or worse while I’m camping. Fortunately in New Zealand, there are no predators, it is a paradise for camping. My biggest concern is usually the weather as it can be fairly wild at times and often with rain and wind.

In this video, I talk about some of the myths to do with solo camping in the hope that it will give you confidence to head out on your own. If you do try solo camping, and decide you’d rather be with other campers, I encourage you to do just that. Either way, enjoy the great outdoors in whichever way you feel comfortable.
