Beyond the Comfort Zone πŸš€

πŸš€ Beyond the Comfort Zone

Hello friends,

Life often invites us to step into the unknown, to try something new, or simply to pause and notice what is unfolding around us. Even small moments, like sitting quietly in the Coromandel bush, can spark reflection and show us where our next steps might lead.

Surrounded by the forest and the evening chorus of moreporks, I am reminded that growth rarely happens in comfort. Discomfort, uncertainty, and even small frustrations, whether in everyday life or on a new adventure, are often signals that something meaningful is taking shape. These are the moments where reflection meets action and a little courage can lead to surprising clarity.

This sense of curiosity and openness is exactly what I love exploring with my coaching clients and it is also at the heart of every Freewheeling Kiwi adventure. In this newsletter, I will share stories, lessons, and reflections to inspire both the journeys you take outside and the ones within.

🌿 Coromandel, New Zealand

This month in Coromandel, the forest feels full of movement and quiet discoveries. At Shambhala, the off-grid cabin is gradually taking shape, each day bringing a new challenge and a small reward. There is something deeply satisfying in seeing plans take form through patience, teamwork, and hands-on effort.

With the trekking season approaching, it is exciting to welcome more people preparing for Annapurna Base Camp 🏞️ and Everest Base Camp πŸ”οΈ.

These journeys offer more than the scenery and trails, they invite reflection, courage, and a chance to discover what you are capable of. Places are filling quickly with 10 trekkers already confirmed for each of the treks and I will close applications soon, now is the perfect moment to secure your spot.

Here’s to embracing curiosity, celebrating progress, and finding joy in the journey. β€” Sharon πŸ’š

πŸ•οΈ Tent Life - Living Off Grid

Living in a tent while building the cabin at Shambhala is a humbling experience. The rain drummed on the canvas all night and every gust of wind reminded me just how exposed we are when we step outside our usual routines.

Yet there is something magical in that exposure. The quiet of the bush, the calls of the birds at first light and the smell of wet earth force you to slow down, notice and adapt. It is a simple life but one full of lessons about patience, resilience and trust in yourself.
